We offer sanitary shell & tube type heat exchangers, useful for a wide range of heating/cooling applications such as fermentor media pasteurisation, cooling of fermentor broth prior to further processing, heating/cooling of sterile compressed air, etc.

The heat exchangers are of fixed head single pass type as a standard design, with the tubes welded to the end plates. A rigid piping assembly, with ball valves, fittings, & pressure gauges can also be supplied, depending upon requirement. The entire assembly is in stainless steel (SS316) polished to a mirror finish on the process surfaces, & is of sanitary design with appropriate end connections such as SMS or triclover unions. The equipment is designed to ensure minimum hold-up of process fluids within the shell/tubes as well as effective cleaning-in-place (CIP). It is in-situ steam sterilizable or autoclavable (as per requirement), & is thus suitable for use in the pharmaceutical, fermentation, biotechnology, food, & dairy industries.

The assembly can either be designed for mounting on the floor without a rigid foundation, or can be mounted on a stainless steel trolley with swivel type nylon castor wheels for ease of transportation within the plant.

Standard sizes available are from 0.5-3.0 m2 heat transfer are. However, other capacities can also be manufactured as per individual requirement.
