LACTIC ACID MANUFACTURING PLANTS

We offer complete plants for manufacture of technical grade lactic acid & lactobacilli. Lactic acid is manufactured by fermentation of a sugary substance using thermophilic cultures. The lactic acid produced is recovered from the fermented broth by lime treatment, crystallization, filtration & concentration. Lactobacilli cells are separated from the fermented broth & dried, & are an important by-product of immense use as a therapeutic product.

The plant, consisting of fermentors with agitators, crystallizers, centrifuges, vacuum distillation system, steam generator, tanks, pumps, piping & instrumentation, is designed as per the scale of manufacture.

Projects can be undertaken on a turnkey basis, where the scope of work includes design, supply, installation & commissioning of the manufacturing plant.
