DINITROGEN PENTOXIDE MANUFACTURING PLANT

We have developed technical know-how for the manufacture of dinitrogen pentoxide, N2O5. Known also as nitrous anhydride, it is an excellent nitrating agent, & is used for the synthesis of a majority of energetic materials, which are obtained by the nitration of a variety of substrates such as aromatic compounds, alkanes, alkenes, alcohols, sugars, oximes, amines and amides. The importance of dinitrogen pentoxide lies in the fact that it can react in solution as well as in the gas phase.

We undertake projects on a turnkey basis, the scope of work being technology transfer & setting up of complete manufacturing facility for manufacture of the compound.

We can offer a fully automatic plant, with control over the operating parameters through a remote computer terminal, using a supervisory control (SCADA) package. Adequate process monitoring & safety features are incorporated in the system, which ensure safe & reliable plant operations, & result in consistent qualitative & quantitative production efficiency.
